Southern Pork Feet

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag pork feet, thawed (2 lbs.)

  • ¾ cup yellow onion, diced

  • ¼ cup celery, diced

  • ½ cup carrots, peeled and diced

  • ¼ cup green onions, minced

  • 1 Tbsp. fresh garlic, minced

  • 2 Tbsp. jalapeño peppers, minced

  • 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, minced1 qt. water

  • ¼ cup chicken base

Instructions:

1. Rinse thawed pork feet well with cold water.

2. Place all ingredients in slow cooker and cover with lid.

3. Cook on high for 6 hours.

Serving Suggestion:

Serve over red beans and rice with fresh corn bread.
