Pickled Pork feet

Prep time: 10 mins | Cooking time: 2 hours | Pickling Time: 4 days

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag pork feet, thawed (2 lbs.)

  • 2 qts. water

  • 3 cups white vinegar

  • 3 Tbsp. kosher salt

  • 1 cup white onion, diced

  • 4 each fresh garlic cloves, crushed

  • 2 each large jalapeño peppers, ring sliced

Instructions:

1. Rinse thawed pork feet well with cold water.

2. Place pork feet in sauce pot with 2 qts. water and bring to a boil.

3. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours. Drain and reserve cooked pork feet.

4. In a pickling jar or other container, combine white vinegar, salt, onion, garlic cloves, and jalapeño slices with cooked pork feet. Make sure liquid covers the feet.

5. Cover or seal jar, and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 days before serving.
