Slow Cooked Tomato Braised Pork Hock Stew

Prep time: 30 mins | Cooking time: 8 hour 

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag Skylark Pork Hocks, thawed (2 lbs.)

  • 12 oz. tomato sauce

  • 2 large Russet potatoes, 1” dice

  • 1 large green bell pepper, sliced

  • 2 medium carrots, 1” dice

  • 1 medium yellow onion, ½” dice

  • 1 Tbsp. fresh garlic, minced

  • 3 bay leaves

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 tsp. beef base

  • 1 tsp. white sugar

  • ½ tsp. ground black pepper

  • 2 tsp. Kosher salt

Instructions:

1. Add all ingredients to a slow cooker.

2. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until pork hocks are tender.

3. Serve hot with rice or pasta.
